I have designed this sword with a practical use case in mind, XMA, Martial Arts, Showcasing (Non contact)
Made so you can swing it around, drop it, and it would should retain functionality without breaking
(This also highly depends on your processing capabilities, not just the files themselves, I take no responsibility if yours breaks)

In relation to the video at the start of the description, I recommend to only use 50cm of an iron rod, starting at the handle, this is to improve the weight balance, and will reduce weight to around 350 grams on the finished piece

Which I used to compare my Cyberpunk one as I found it was one of the best training swords I have ever used
Playwells sword is 96cm without the scabbard and 438 grams
Whilst these files when fully processed end up at around 980mm, if you use the full length 85x4mm iron rod it ends up at 404 grams, 34 grams lighter
And as mentioned above, if you only use 50cm of the iron rod you will improve balance and reduce weight to around only 350 grams



IMPORTANT NOTE
These files have been sliced for a large format printer at:
X365 Y354 dimensions, z axis only really needs around 8cm max I would say
However you can cut and slice the files for a smaller format printer yourself

I am also including a 3DS Max project file for you so you can oriantate the model as you please and cut it down to smaller pieces if needed

Comes with a PrusaSlicer project file that's meant to serve AS AN EXAMPLE
DO NOT USE THIS PROJECT FILE ON YOUR PRINTER as the custom gcode and printer settings are specifically meant for my custom printer, instead only use this as reference

You are free to sell prints of the files, but please do not resell the files themselves as I put in months of work in prototyping and testing

I recommend printing in PETG on a Textured PEI (I use Nozzle X at 240 hotend and 80 hotbed)
It is designed to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height

print one of each .stl file
they are all pre-orientated

For the base pieces I advise 7% infill, all of these require height range modifier from 2.6 to 2.8mm so you can increase infill so that the next layers have something to print on top of
(this is if you decide to use low infill ie 7% throughout the object for light weight)

Blade
All of these pieces are rather specific in configuration in your slicer
Bottom solid layers: 2
Layer height: 0.2mm
Perimeters: 20 (This is so that the Translucency is perfectly even
Top Solid Layers: 5
Height Range Modifier 3.20-3.40mm: Perimeters: 0 (If you look at these layers, you will see that its the bridging part, and its required for max strength)

Middle A1
Middle B
I advise 20% infill

Middle A3 Battery Cover Clip
elephant foot compensation 0.4mm (so you can insert this easily into Middle A2 Battery Cover)

Sleeve
The only part i recommend printing super slow as its rather thin

Set this to 5V, this limits the voltage of the battery to 5v

Radial Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitor 220uF 35v set to 5v
this prevents over current spikes

SP110E Bluetooth Controller
which gets controlled on an android phone using the LED Hue app

DPDT Self Latching 6 Pin 5x5mm Short Switch

5mm Narrow WS2812B RGB LED Pixel strip with a total of 40 segments
5V
60 leds per meter
5mm wide black PCB
SMD 5050 LED
you most likely will only need around 1 meter but as its pretty cheap i would advise buying more incase something goes wrong

16 x M3 Socket Button Screws - Dome Head - Hex Allen Bolts
need to be trimmed to only around 2mm long and would only be used for aesthetic decoration

Female 5.5mm x 2.1mm 25cm DC Power Barrel Jack Connector
This will need to be stripped from all the plastics, so you can solder on positive and negative wires to the bare metals
Optional if you want to connect to mains adaptor, or from your charger for the "Sony NP FW50 battery"
Just make sure if you have the dc mains connected whilst the battery is inserted at the same time, the voltage is correct, ie, if you use 12v mains DC adaptor, whilst the 8.4v "Sony NP FW50 battery" is connected, it would very likely blow up

Quality Brass or Sliver Plated Paper Fasteners Split Pins Butterfly Clip 30mm
I use these as pins for the battery, you could have to manually clipl them with clippers, and use a soldering iron to insert them into
