This cute baby blanket is great for those who are new to Mosaic Crochet. Featuring a serene nighttime scene with a large crescent moon shining brightly in the sky, a cute and playful cat reaches out amongst the stars, creating a dreamy atmosphere perfect for a little one to snuggle up in. This unique and whimsical design makes for a truly special and enchanting baby blanket that is sure to give any baby sweet dreams.
Example was made with size 4 worsted weight yarn and a 5mm hook. I used Lion Brand’s Basic Stitch in various colors.
Basic Stitch black - 1&1/2 skeins (approx 300 yards)
Basic Stitch teal heather - 3 skeins (approx 500-600 yards)
Basic Stitch silver - 1&1/2 skeins (approx 300 yards)
Dimensions are 25 inches x 34 inches.
Skill Level: Upper level beginner. This pattern uses very basic stitches (just single and double crochet). Technique is overlay mosaic crochet, so a basic understanding is helpful. If you’re interested is learning mosaic crochet, this is an easy starter project!
