This zine is a very personal depiction of my experience with Hurricane Katrina. Through prose, journal entries, and mixed media imagery I attempt to create a vivid depiction of my experience of the days, weeks, and months that followed the catastrophe. The zine essentially follows the course I took in attempting to rebuild a life after and come to terms with an incomprehensible event.

Each copy has been numbered, signed, and dated in this special first edition of 100; each is veiled in a translucent vellum cover.

An etsy reader's review: "...a book in its own right. A gripping story presented in a non-whining way that's devoid of self pity as it gives an insider's view of Katrina and her aftermath. Wonderful. I recommend it very highly."

*Please note that $1 will be donated to the Common Ground Collective in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans for each copy of this zine sold. To learn more about Common Ground or to make a direct donation, visit

Percentages of sales from other New Orleans-related items are also being donated to Common Ground.
