This is my “Medium Oak” Lazy Susan. The measurements are 15 1/2” across (17” tip to tip) and 2” high. This lazy susan has 8 kinds of wood, all the natural colors. There are 464 pieces in the overlay, 136 diamonds and 328 triangles. The type of wood used is listed on the bottom from the center out. On this lazy susan, starting from the center is “Cottonwood” and “Hackberry” from Missouri, “Lacewood” from Australia, “Bubinga” from West Africa, “Philippine Mahogany” from the Philippines, “Imbuia” from Brazil, “Wenge” from West Africa, and “Oak” from Missouri.
The pattern is based on the “Lone Star” quilt pattern. The design extends over the edge to within ¼” of the table top it sits on. The stationary base is hidden on the inside, behind the edge.

This is “Medium Oak” Lazy Susan #132. It was made in 1999. On the bottom I signed it, listed the wood, and dated it. After the date the words “Foot Cut” let you
know I made it on my foot powered table saw.

The steel ball bearings are quiet and smooth working. The lazy susan will rotate at the touch of a finger.

Go to my ”Shop Polices” and “Profile” page to see my return policy and other information. To see other lazy susans I’ve made, click on “Lazy Susans” or whatever gets your interest under “Sections in this shop”. The “Home” page itself can be rather confusing with everything mixed up. The “Sections in this shop” lets me show you all like items together as a unit.

Payment can be made using Pay Pal for immediate shipment, money order or check. Checks will have to clear before shipment is made.

Additional policies

Why are some of these things so old?

I did shows for 16 years, then had to stay closer to home as both my and my wife’s folks were living with us and needed more care. I made a lot of my things at shows and would finish them up at home. This way I built up quite an inventory of goods I would pack away in boxes. These are not like cars that wear out with age. They just set in a box and stay new. If when you get it, it is not what you want I have a very good return policy above.
