I work directly with Afghan artisans, and I am able to offer customized handmade rugs to my clients based on their individual furnishing needs. If you would like to order a custom-made rug, please contact me!

Gift wrapping and packaging

I individually package each of my rugs with utmost love and care. If you have special gift-wrapping needs, I will honor them at no charge! I regularly gift wrap for birthdays, holidays, and all other occasions.

What is your return policy?

I have two types of return policies: 1. Free return shipping in the United States (I’ll reimburse you for the shipping costs to return the rug); and 2. Client pays for return shipping costs. If you ever have any questions about carpet care or maintenance, I am a phone call or Etsy message away. I will help and guide you through the process even after your purchase! You will receive time-tested instructions and guidance that I learned from the rug-making artisans themselves. I look forward to sharing that knowledge with you!

Customs and Importation Fees

When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed (e.g. handling fees) by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. In general, the buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country. Unfortunately, I can’t predict which of fees, if any, will be applied, and Etsy doesn’t expect sellers to calculate or collect these fees or taxes. Contact your local customs office for more info.
