Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A large, round, copper bowl with two handles. The bowl is sitting on a wooden block.

Authentic Vintage Late 1800’s Very Large Copper Candy/Confectionery Making/Cook Pot With Heavy Wrought Iron Handles. Great Looking Original Copper Patina. Not only is this copper candy pot ready to be used, it is outstanding looking as well as a wall, counter or table display. Even can be repurposed as a sink!

Marked under rolled rim: Savage Bros. Co. Makers Chicago ILL - N 8025. Along the bottom portion of the pot and up one side are awesome looking dovetailed seams that are attached/sealed with a brass weld. The top edge has the copper rolled over an iron metal ring to provide strength. What really compliments the copper are the two large hand forged wrought iron handles that are attached to the pot with large copper rivets. These handles just enhance the rustic look and feel.

Overall outstanding condition with original copper patina (see pictures for details on condition). Dimensions: 26 inches in diameter, 32 inches wide at handles, 12 inches tall. Weight 36 pounds. This item ships free ONLY to continental United States locations. Please contact us for shipping rates to Alaska and Hawaii.

All of these copper candy pots that we have listed have been in our family for over 50 years. My father loved ice cream and candy items - with these copper candy pots his favorite. He picked all these candy pots out of closed down candy makers in Chicago. We want them to find a home where they can be loved they way we have.

Please check out the other late 1800’s copper candy pots we have listed from our vast collection of vintage ice cream and candy items.
