Steel yourself for this ring. This sterling silver ring with a chunk of mild steel probably won't be worn every day - it's a little top-heavy. A cocktail ring for those tough occasions.

The colour difference between the sterling silver and the mild steel is more obvious than the photos show - think of the colour of a plain framing nail. The steel rod is more of a rounded triangle in cross-section than a round rod. Although it looks as though it would slip out, it won't - it's permanently silver soldered in place.

Care and attention - same as sterling silver. Don't leave it out in the rain or take to the beach. Do this and rust won't be a problem.

Each piece of sterling silver jewellery I make is stamped 'sterling' along with a registered trademark (hallmark) which is the stylized 'CW' seen at the right side of the banner.

Weight - about 20 grams
Rod length - 25mm (1")
Size - just under #8 1/2 - I can make it about 1 size larger.
