This is a digital file. No physical product will be sold.

You will receive 5 SVG files. No other file formats are included. Should you need a different format, there are websites that offer free conversions. I have limited software that cannot create some types of formats. I cannot create DXF Files. I apologize for the inconvenience.

You will receive the word HOME with matching flourishes that layer on top of each letter. The lines are scored to assist you with placement of the flourishes. You will not need to cut everything provided on the file. Choose which version of the file you want to cut. Options are listed below and are numbered.

You must set the lines to score on the objects for placement. They are there to help you. Do not set these to cut.

You will receive 5 SVG files. You will receive 2 files of 1/8” versions one that can be personalized and the other than is not personalized with individual stands, 2 files of 1/4” personalized and no personalized with individual stands, and a version without slots and stands that you can adjust in size and use for other crafting purposes.

I recommend cutting this file with high end birch or MDF. Low end birch has glue voids and tends not to cut all the way through. It also never truly measures 1/8” or 1/4” all the way through. It also chars very easily.

1/8” stand slots for material .12-.125”
1/4” stands fit .25-.26” material.
Please be sure your material measures within this thickness prior to cutting. I recommend owning digital calipers to measure your materials when owning a laser.

If your material does not measure within these perimeters you can measure it with digital calipers and then add .007” kerf by using your software and adjusting the bases. I cannot adjust stands to fit your material so please be sure your material fits the guidelines specified here. You can ungroup the bases yourself and measure your materials and adjust the size of the slots to fit your specific material size with free software such as Inkscape.

************Be sure to use the correct stands for whatever material you made this file with. The files are labeled accordingly. The 1/8” file comes with double layered stands. You will receive a single layer for the 1/4” version.

This file has been cut and tested on a GLOWFORGE Basic unit. Can be used on alternate types of lasers. You may use this file for small business or craft projects. You may not resell or exchange it with anyone. File can only be used by the purchaser. Please contact with any questions. All sales final, no exchanges or refunds on digital files. You must select SCORE for the lines on back layer to help with placement. There are also score lines to help you with placement for the flourishes if you want to place them on without the slats. The rest you must select cut. There are multiple ways to make this file. You can layer the flourishes over the slats as pictured or glue the flourishes on without the slats. It is your preference how you’d like to make this ❤️ I wanted to provide you with as many ways to make this to give you multiple options for your customers and events to help you grow your small business ☺️ you will not need to cut everything provided.


There are 3 ways to make this file:
You may choose which way you’d like to make them. You will not need all of the pieces provided. These are there for you to make this your way.

1. Cut the letters and flourishes and glue to the non personalized version of the standing sign. You must score the flourishes on the letters for placement. Do not set these to cut. Glue letters onto the sign and glue flourishes onto the letters. Place sign into base.

2. Same as step one however you can personalize this one. This version is shown in the photo. You can add names to the hearts provided. Engrave names onto the hearts. You will need to place a layer of clear acrylic on top of the sign provided that has the O cut out on top. Glue the acrylic onto the front and back of the sign. Then place the provided letter O with flourishes over the acrylic layer for finishing. Add hearts. There are a variety of hearts provided in sizes to suit your family size. You just know how to engrave names. I cannot assist with adding names for you.

3. A file is included without the slots and base for you to use just the letters and flourishes to create your own sign. For example on a rectangle or on a round sign. You could also cut these with card stock and make a card with them on a Cricut machine.

This sign measure 4” tall roughy, and fits on a Glowforge Basic. You can cut as many or as little as you like. it is around 12-13” long with the words and stand.

With so many new lasers on the market, I cannot provide settings as I do not want to provide incorrect settings that can damage your machine or product. Each Glowforge runs at different speeds and also operate differently for each material. I cannot trouble shoot hardware, as I do not want to be responsible for damaging your machine by giving you the wrong advice. I can tell you I used 1/8” MDF on this project on medium draft board setting if that helps :)

I use chalk paint from folk art and I choose to paint after cutting, You may choose to paint first and mask. That is your preference. I like loctite gel superglue to assemble. I used spray inks to create the look on these and used distressing ink pads to create the antique look. I also used scrapbook paper and decoupage glue. I have a video tutorial on how I created these if you are interested.

1/8” MDF was used in entire project in photo. I purchased my MDF from GS2 Awards.

By purchasing this file you are granted commercial use. This license is only for the person who purchased the file and cannot be transferred. You may use this file for craft classes, and you may make as many physical items as you’d like. This file is sold AS IS. I cannot alter or personalize this file at this time. Should you want this in a different size, shape, design, that is up to you to make those changes. If you choose to make changes to the file, then you will need software and adjust as needed. You may not then resell the file or claim the newly designed piece as your own. This violates the terms of the license and will be revoked.
