How long do pieces take to make?

On average a piece will take 7-10 working days to craft prior to posting - depending on orders/materials requirements. This is due to the fact that they're handmade from order inception (to reduce waste and to suit your colour needs).

Are fixtures included for keyracks?

No fixtures or fittings are included for within key rack orders. This is due to the bespoke nature of how a customer wants to hang the piece/wall surface it is going on. Whilst there are a few ways to do this (angle brackets, screws into the rear/wall or hanging strips), it is recommended to use angle brackets for more support to the piece. Handmade By Sharl accepts no liability for any damage done to the piece, or surrounding areas, when a keyrack is fitted in your preferred location.

What is the process in making these?

I cut the wood by hand, or prepare the blank once an order comes in (as it helps to save on waste then). I sand each element to ensure a great finish, then any painted element gets 2+ coats of paint, depending on the paint colour, and allowing for ample drying time between coats. I then assemble the windows with white backing paper so they stand out, glue all elements on the houses and screw the hooks in where required! It may seem simple but it takes a lot of preparation and assembly time.
