With this very detailed pattern, you can make a realistic mini Dachshund.

For an experienced crocheter this is an easy pattern, and I always try to write it in a way so beginners can make it too, but it will be a challenge for a beginner.

Size of finished doll: If you use the recommended yarn, your dog will be 6 inch / 15 cm long and about 4 inch/ 10 cm high.

Materials
For this crochet dog you’ll need worsted weight Lètt Lopi yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need two colours of yarn: rust, Lètt Lopi 9427 (1/8 of a 100-yard skein) and black, Lètt Lopi 0059 (1/4). For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal safety eyes. You will also need fibrefill, I’ve used wool filling.
