The Book of Shadows features 8 monsters/creatures and literary characters, hand-picked by The LivingOnTheRainbow and her team. Those were carefully cross-stitched and locked inside with a padlock and a strong chain. Some of them have humanoid form... one does not have a form at all, and at least one furry creature sneaked into the party too. 

This Book is the next design in the Witches Bookshelf series, which also includes the Book of Potions and the Book of Spells (you can see all of them on the last photo).

SKILL LEVEL AND STITCHES USED: 

The patterns in this project are perfect for experienced and adventurous stitchers. They mostly include full cross stitch and a back stitch, however there are some fractional stitches and french knots used. 

DESIGN SIZE:

Finished Book size is 7cm wide x 9cm height

SUGGESTED FABRICS and FLOSS:

Aida 18 count by Zweigart - for the book cover. Any color will fit, since it will be fully cross stitched. 
Vintage Country Mocha linen 32 count by Zweigart - for the pages. I recommend using this linen since it is perfectly coloured and resembles old paper. 

40 DMC colors and 3 Kreinik #4 braid colors used.
