Made to feel very sturdy so you can use them daily and not feel like you have to be gentle with these handmade mugs . And comes with a strong handle that is made to look like it organically grew out of its body.

The outside has a matte rustic surface. The inside has a glossy white surface. Made on a pottery wheel using stoneware clay. Handles are made using a pulling method by hand and then attached and sculpted to the body. The method of firing was done in an electric kiln to cone 5 (2185 degrees Fahrenheit). All of my pots are stamped with a KIMHAU logo on the bottom.

Love, love, love this mug. Perfect size for morning coffee. The Matt black color is striking. Seller noticed an issue out of the kiln and instead of sending anyway, she contacted me to keep me informed. I look forward to buying more hand-crafted mugs from her.
