I recommend using thick natural leather at least 6 Oz ( 2.4 mm thick Vegetable Tanned Leather) for getting the best result.


The tools required are:

- a regular cutter,

- a single hole puncher,

- edge beveller

- two needles

- hammer


Due to the possible minimum differences in the distance between the holes, we recommend using single hole punch.


Hardware:

- 6 x snap

- 6 x bag feet


Dimensions of the finished basket:

50cm x 24-18 cm x 17 cm (27cm with handles) / 19.68'' x 9.44''- 7.08'' x 6.69'' (10.62'' with handles)

Great pattern and has made a wonderful Christmas present, stitching the ends on can be fun but that’s due to the size not the pattern and it’s well worth it. I lined it as the leather I used was a little thin and put an extra layer in the handles for the same reason. Great pattern and lovely end result. All tree house patterns I have made so far have been great.
