This is one of the first young daffodils of spring. While still in a silvery winter hush, this flower captures the hopeful glow of the sun, promising warmth for the new year.
It is slightly personified, if you look hard enough. You are that flower, aren't you? You are optimistic despite your darkness.
This is painted in oil on a 12"x12" masonite board, which has a "cradle" to raise it off the wall 3/4". The background looks black, but it's a very very dark Prussian Blue.
It is dry, varnished, and ready to hang as is without a frame.
The "la" watermark is for web purposes and of course is not on the painting.
Thank you!!!
