Do you offer RUSH production ?

Yes! My standard production time is approximately 2–3 weeks, but I offer a Rush Production upgrade when available. Rush Production moves your order to the front of my production queue for quicker production. You can purchase it at the same time as your sign or add it to an existing order later if you decide you need your sign sooner. Please note that Rush Production applies to production time only—shipping/transit time is additional, and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. You can purchase Rush Production here: https://tinyurl.com/Rush-Production

How do I hang my sign?

No additional hanging hardware is needed! My signs are lightweight and designed to hang directly from the wood frame. Simply place one or two nails in the wall and rest the top inside edge of the frame directly on the nails. Easy! 😊

What happens if my item arrives damaged?

While shipping damage is rare, if your sign does arrive damaged, I’m so sorry! Please contact me right away and keep the sign, shipping box, and ALL original packing materials. Damage instructions are included with your order and are right on the packaging. Please send at least 8 clear photos showing the front/back of the sign, the damage, the shipping box, and ALL packaging and contents—including the cardboard protective corners, packing paper, and bubble wrap we use to carefully protect your sign during shipping. Please photograph everything as close to originally packaged as possible and keep all materials until the claim is resolved.

Are your signs wood, canvas, painted, or printed?

My signs are made from real wood and individually painted by hand in my workshop. They are not canvas, printed signs, or made with vinyl stickers. 😊 I create a custom stencil for each design and paint the lettering directly onto the wood. I hand-paint the background as well, and each sign comes with a real rustic pine wood frame. Because each sign is handmade using real wood and paint, you may notice slight variations in the wood grain, knots, frame, or painted finish. These are a natural part of working with real wood and creating each sign by hand—not a mass-produced or printed product.

Can I see your different stain colors?

Absolutely! You can find examples of my frame stain options throughout my shop and on the stain chart included in my listing photos. Weathered Gray: https://tinyurl.com/SUNSHINE-BEFORE Medium Brown: https://tinyurl.com/sunshine-brown Classic Gray: https://tinyurl.com/sunshine-gray Dark Walnut (the 3rd photo shows Medium Brown vs. Dark Walnut): https://tinyurl.com/sunshine-walnut Black: https://tinyurl.com/Sunshine-Black Because I use real rustic pine, the wood grain, knots, and the way each piece accepts stain will naturally vary from frame to frame.

How long does it take to make and ship my order?

Your order’s approximate ship-by date can be found in your Etsy account under Purchases. All Sunshine Sign Shop signs are handmade, and my normal production time is approximately 2–3 weeks before shipping. Shipping/transit time is additional to the production timeframe. I ship using UPS or USPS, depending on the package size and destination. Once your package ships, you can find tracking information in your Etsy order. Please note: A shipping label may be purchased while your order is being prepared for pickup. Tracking will begin updating once the carrier receives and scans your package.

How do I order a custom or personalized sign?

I’d love to create a custom sign for you! 😊 Choose the size you’d like from my Custom Designed Sign listing and enter your wording and requested details in the Personalization box. For custom-designed signs, I’ll send 4–6 digital design proofs through Etsy Messages once your order reaches the top of my design queue. You’ll be able to review and approve your design before I make your sign. https://www.etsy.com/listing/737484732/custom-sign-customized-wood-sign

When will I receive proofs for my custom sign?

My normal production timeframe is about 2–3 weeks, and I complete custom designs in the order they are received. Once your order is in my design queue, I’ll send 4–6 digital proof options through Etsy Messages for you to review and approve before I make your sign. Please keep an eye on your Etsy Messages so your order isn’t delayed while I wait for your approval. 😊

Can I fit any amount of wording on a custom sign?

How much wording fits depends on the sign size. Smaller signs have word limits so the lettering stays large enough to read and paint cleanly and crisply. I paint my signs individually using stencils; they aren't printed with ink or made with vinyl stickers, so too many words on a small sign can make the lettering too small for my painting process. If you need more wording, choosing a larger sign will give us more room to create a balanced design.

Hand-painted lightweight wood.
Framed in rustic pine.
100% Paint, not vinyl

All signs are custom-made, painted with brush marks for that rustic, farmhouse look. Expect grooves in the wood, knots in the frames, and imperfections. I do not try to hide any imperfections in the natural state of the wood and use any blemish to make each sign an original. Imperfections add charm and character that make each sign unique.

Our signs are lightweight and designed to hang from the frame, so no hanging hardware is included. We are not responsible for signs hung improperly.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for undelivered or misdelivered packages due to incorrect addresses.

This listing is for one sign only. All signs are made to order.
