“This requires a lot of hand sewing, which was disappointing and no mention of the hand sewing in the pattern description. I’ve been crocheting Amigurumi for several years and was excited to have a quick make axolotl. Each gill is hand sewn, each leg is hand sewn, the tail is sewn in as is the flipper. I’m rather bummed. The crochet directions for the gills are also very hard to understand… then you have to make 6 separate gills and sew each one on. I’ll finish the one I’ve started but won’t be making more using this pattern as it is written.”
