There is not model number on this movement but from the blue steel hands the shape and nice lines etched in the back of this movement points to the 1920s or 30s where as in the 40s their movements were less ornate also most of their later watch movements were round. There are 15 rubis (or man made rubies) and this movement includes the dial** with 2 out of 3 hands present. This movement is in fair condition with rust beginning to form on the ratchet and crown wheels, it measures 17mm x 25mm and it is not working.
Since I estimate this watch is from the 1920s or 1930s there is risk that radium is present on the dial as it appears to have luminous paint or glow in the dark numbers! It is the buyers responsibility to use safe handling of this item and read up upon the possible dangers associated with radium. Although the dial is quite worn and no longer seems to glow please exercise caution with the purchase, handling and use of this item as I have no equipment to see if it is still radioactive or not. You can read more about radium with this article http:\/\/elginwatches.org\/help\/luminous_dials.html
If you are concerned about the dial but still want to purchase the movement I can remove the dial for you please notify me by convo after purchasing this or in the “Message to Seller section” upon purchase. Also let me know if you would like to keep the hands. Thank you,
