The actual metal part of the helmet seems to be fine. It’s the liner. It’s not leather. It’s some kind of vinyl garbage. The item description says the materials used are metal and leather. I will have to rip the liner out and replace with a self made leather liner. Luckily I have the skills, materials, and tools to do so. Another thing is the helmet is very oily. Will need to be cleaned with a degreaser. Also a lot shinier than expected. Will have to figure a way to remedy that as well. Overall, I didn’t expect it to be the highest quality at this price but it did not meet my expectations.
