Highlights
This old hard cover book is "Yearbook of the United States Department of Agriculture for the Year 1908", published in 1909 by the Government Printing Office in Washington. This is an authentic book of the era - it is not a reproduction, not a re-print, not a digital print. The book offers highly informative statistical reports, animal censuses, as well as veterinary and entomology reports, showing the state of knowledge of crops, pests, diseases, and animal husbandry of the era. The Table of Contents is shown in photos 2 and 3. The hard cover book is almost complete as it is missing pages 297/298, with 822 pages in good condition, and there are many photographs, charts, and tables, and some of the photographs and drawings are in color. There is a good index. The binding is intact and starting to loosen, the pages show discoloration due to age, and the covers show wear consistent with age. The hard cover book measures about 9 1/4" by 6" by 2 1/8". In fair condition.

The book was wrapped in paper, then wrapped in a heavy duty mailing envelope. It arrived in great condition. The book was just as described.
