Highlights
This old hard cover book is "8th Annual Report of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture 1902", published in 1903 by William Stanley Ray of Harrisburg, PA. This is an authentic book of the era - it is not a reproduction, not a re-print, not a digital print. The book offers highly informative statistical reports as well as chemistry, botany, and entomology reports, showing the state of knowledge of crops, chemicals, and animal husbandry of the era. The hard cover book is complete, with 1,029 pages in good condition for their age, and there are a few charts and tables, all in black and white. The binding is secure but threatening to separate, some of the pages have light foxing and discoloration due to age, and the covers and spine show wear. There is a good index. The hard cover book measures about 9 1/2" by 7" by 2 5/8". The binding is intact and secure, and the covers show wear consistent with age. In good condition.

Wonderful book. I love old horticultural books/magazines, they are a great window into gardners lives in a past time. The book was very well packaged for shipping and is as described in condition. Great seller.
