This one-of-a-kind original design and creation was inspired by the wonderful high county life I had for almost 20 years. I used very tiny glass seed beads, and each one was sewn in place. The three colors signify the changes of the seasons. The lime green is when the leaves first come out in the spring, the yellow is when the season is just beginning to change and the burnt orange is when fall is in full force, just before the leaves drop for the winter season. The neck piece is designed to depict the bark of the aspen tree. This piece took many, many hours to create. The central leaf is three seasons in one leaf, which measures 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches long. It is backed with ultra suede and signed by the artist.
