This listing is for a beautiful color vintage oceanography print from a 1922 French Larousse dictionary. It show many species of fish together with their names in French. The colors are very vibrant ! The reverse is printed with more line drawings of marine life in black ink. This vintage illustration of sea animals would look lovely framed, for example as a gift for an oceanographer or a diver for example.

𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘 : approx. 19.7 x 29.2 cm (8" x 11 1/2") including margins.

𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 : What you will receive is a real physical dictionary page from 1922 that comes from a damaged volume. The edges of the paper are slightly yellowed but the images are in very good condition.

Cette belle gravure ancienne en couleurs illustre l'article "océanographie" du dictionnaire. Le verso est également imprimé et montre d'autres dessins de faune marine à l'encre noire. Ces illustrations sont parfaites encadrées, par exemple comme cadeau pou un océanographe ou un plongeur.

DIMENSIONS : approx 19,7 x 29,2 cm, marges incluses.

PROVENANCE : Il s'agit d'une page extraite d'un volume de 1922 endommagé. Le papier est légèrement jauni, en particulier sur les bords mais l'image elle-même est en très bon état.
