A vintage percolating coffee pot - the Westinghouse Pressure-Flo, model HP73-2. As described in a 1967 Life Magazine ad: "Westinghouse has invented a new and better way to make coffee. The Pressure-Flo basket is the secret of this delicious coffee. Westinghouse made the basket a pressure chamber by closing the top and eliminating the holes, except for some tiny ones near the bottom. This process forces water down through the ground coffee under gentle, even pressure to extract more flavor from every measure. Now you can count on every drop of coffee being just the way you like it, whether you brew three cups or ten. The new Pressure-Perk coffee maker may not change the world, but Westinghouse made it anyway. Because a really good cup of coffee is so important to you."

This is a truly very interesting coffee brewing concept, it's too bad drip makers came along and squashed such percolator innovation. The pot is tested and working - it has a slide control on the front to set your brew strength to mild, medium or strong. A little orange triangle lights up when the coffee is ready, and the pot will periodically do a short "refresh" brew until unplugged. The pot does have some nicks and wear from age and use, but still presents nicely with chrome shine, mod style, and is clean on the inside. Complete with all parts and cord.
