Highlights
Hand burned wooden buttons, for sewing and crafts. Each button is individually decorated by hand. There are 5 designs and the buttons come in packs of 10 with two of each design in the pack. Great for projects or a gift to the sewing lover.
Dimensions are 2cm length and height, 3mm depth
All the buttons come in a compostable plastic bag, which you must throw away as normal, but it does degrade in normal landfill.
I currently ship to Australia, US, Canada and UK
The process...I have a sketch book where i design all my pieces, i then transpose them onto the wood and then burn the wood outlines and do the shading last. The burning process can take anywhere from 30 minutes (for a one sided necklace) to 8 4 hour days (intricate wall hanging). Depending on the design they all take different times. Doing wood burning is a bit like tattooing in that if you make a mistake you have to work with it, so it requires a lot of careful creating and patience. There is something meditative about it which i enjoy!
