Properly Measure for Curtains

Take your window width x 1.5 to just cover. For a fuller look with more curtain gather take your window width x 2. The more curtain width you have the more gather there will be which looks great! For the length, measure from the rod or the bottom of your rings to where you want the curtains to drape. Some like them to puddle on the floor (not recommended with children or pets) and some prefer them to go past the window sill by a couple of inches. Entirely your preference.

Fabric Samples (ordered from the manufacturer and ship in 2 weeks plus 3-5 days transit time)

Our quality drapery fabrics are printed here in the USA. If you order the same fabric but on different dates the fabrics may not be from the same dye lot, therefore, there could be some variation in the fabric colors. Fabrics can look different over a computer monitor. There are various fabric weights, colors and textures or the pattern could be larger or smaller than you expected. Due to differences in computer screens and lighting in our homes, I recommend ordering a sample. Although most of my customers do not, maybe you prefer to see what the drapery fabric looks and feels like, so that you can make sure it will work for you before purchasing made to order curtains. Fabrics are ordered from the manufacturer. There is an estimated delivery window on your order screen depending on when the fabric arrives. Every curtain is custom made to order by me in my smoke free shop located in the USA!

Changes, Cancellations, Exchanges, Returns, Alterations

When I receive your paid order, I immediately start ordering materials. Please make sure you have finalized your measurements, color choices, shipping address, etc. before ordering. No changes, cancellations, exchanges, returns or alterations as each item is custom made. Your order will ship via the USPS. Please make sure you use the shipping address of where you will be during the estimated delivery window. Otherwise, you will need to forward your mail with the USPS as I am required to ship to the address on your order. If you will be on vacation, hold your mail with the USPS.

When you hang your curtains allow the natural folds to form. Take each fold of fabric and gently press between your hands all the way down to the bottom of the curtain. If you can, leave them in that position and over time you will train your curtains to hang in beautiful folds.

Fabric Manufacturer Care Instructions

All fabrics have a cleaning code of SW. This means they should be cleaned using a sponge and mild detergent then air dry. Washing machines and dryers are too abrasive for printed fabric and cause shrinkage. There will be creases from being folded while in transit. You can iron the fabric on the cotton setting with steam.
