This vintage shirt is referred to as Barong Tagalog and made in the Philippines during the 1960's. The fabric is sheer with a pearly sheen, like silk. It might be made of pineapple fiber(piña) but can't say for sure. The fabric looks like silk or organza.
The intricate embroidery pattern is lattice, scallops and dots. Including the back & sleeves.
It comes in an ivory color with beige threading and 8-1/2" side vents/slits.
The closest to the true color is in picture #3.

The men are known to wear these from casual wear to weddings. Including the groom.

Also, referred to as Classic natural Off-White Jusi Silk Fiber with matching Traditional Embroidery.

The label reads:
ROSAS Artcrafts, Inc.
Ermita, Manila, Phil.
Size L for Large

Button up front with all original buttons hidden behind front flap. Missing top button, otherwise, in excellent condition.(price adjustment has been made for the lost button)
