Heyworth was an Importer of watches with headquarters in Chicago IL. (They used quality watch movements). The Heyworth name was registered by AC Basin of Chicago in two different forms, in 1936 and 1949. The name of the watch company was taken from the Heyworth Building, where they were located. The Heyworth Building (built in 1904), is a Chicago Landmark by the firm of famed architect Daniel Burnham, located at 29 East Madison Street, on the southwest corner of Madison Street and Wabash Avenue. The Heyworth Building was long a center of the watch making and jewelry trade in Chicago. This watch is circa 1952-1956. Heyworth continued in business through the mid 1970s.

The great watchmakers of the twentieth century created outstanding examples of their craft designed especially for the feminine wrist. These vintage timepieces display a great attention to precision timekeeping in their compact and complex mechanisms. They also serve as beautiful reminders of the design ideals from the era in which they were made. Not only beautiful works of art, but also practical, these women's vintage watches always bring pleasure to their discerning owners.

The watch shows some patina on dial, hands and case. Vintage and antique items generally show wear commensurate with age but we endeavor to point out any major flaws, if any. As this is a 60+ year old vintage watch, no guarantees are offered. Returns cannot be accepted.
