Highlights
This warm and textured wallcovering is made from natural cork wood veneer. The finished effect is breathtakingly unique.
This wall covering will add warmth and texture to any space. The cork used in this wallcovering is untreated/uncoloured. Cork wood has a lovely light warm brown colour that works well with a wide range of colours. Each roll will be unique in pattern as the natural grain and swirls of the cork wood form beautiful texture and pattern.
In addition to it's beauty cork veneer also helps to dampen noise and has mild insulation properties.
Sustainably harvested cork wood is taken from the outer bark of living trees. This process does not kill the tree and is an ancient practice. Using cork in different ways is a great way to support cork wood farming/forests that have become threatened in recent years.
There are so many ways wooden veneer can be used on walls, ceilings and on furniture.
You can use it on its own to cover all your walls or just on panelled areas or feature walls. This natural patterned wallcovering looks smashing when displayed next to plain walls.
An excellent choice for living rooms, dining rooms, nurseries and bedrooms.
To make this wallcovering thin strips of cork are expertly fastened to thick backing paper. It is biodegradable and made from non toxic materials.
MEASUREMENTS;
Our rolls of paper measure 91cm wide by 5.5m in length or 1 yard wide by 6 yards long.
This covers and area approx 5 square meters in size or 53 square feet.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS;
Please note that this paper is not pre pasted and wallpaper paste will need to be purchased and applied to attach it. When applying this wallcovering to your walls we recommend using a strong mix paste designed for heavy weight papers.
If unsure about how to apply this product then please consult a professional decorator with experience in using non woven paper.
Wooden veneer although durable can stain if exposed to water. Remove any spillages or splashes from the paper by using a clean dry cloth. Dried stains can be removed with a clean slightly damp cloth/sponge. Stubborn stains will require professional cleaning.
