I love doing commissioned pieces for pets and animals! If you would like to start this process, please select "Request Custom Order" and describe your request, along with details of your furry or feathered friend, their personality, and character. I will work with you to identify the ideal approach and provide guidance for the best reference photos that help capture the spirit of your animal friend. Typical timelines are around 4 weeks from the approved creative direction. Prices vary based on size and project complexity.

Reference photos that show your animal friend's face and eyes very clearly are the best photos to work with. Having multiple angles, such as head-on and side-facing, as well as well-lit and high-resolution photos really help me to understand personality and spirit.

Once we've aligned on the spirit of the piece, and the best reference photos to work with, I will rough out a watercolor sketch to test colors and approach and share that with you. I will do one revision with the requested changes. Additional changes after the first revision will be priced out at an agreed-upon rate set at the beginning of the project. Once you've approved the rough sketch I will complete the piece on professional-grade watercolor paper. Once complete, I will ship the final original artwork to you.
