Having spent the gloomy Minnesota winter imagining and painting the Wild Parrots of Saint Paul (47 in total) I continued to use my parrot image as a vehicle for exploring patterns and colors. This Paper Mosaic Parrot is made of cut up old watercolor paintings, archival glue, and archival acrylic glaze. I find cutting tiny shapes and pasting them into intricate patterns to be fun.

The Green Paper Mosaic Parrot is 7x9-1/4 on watercolor paper.
