Dehydrated Mature Sourdough Starter by The Sourdough Mama (Katrina Niesen).
I use this starter in all of my baking, sourdough workshops, and local sales to ensure my bakers get started on the right foot. This dehydrated starter is made from my mother starter which is fed with Artisan Bread Flour, kept at room temperature, and fed twice daily.

I can not recommend the "Sourdough Mama" more highly! Her sourdough starter arrived super fast, was packaged beautifully with written instructions, video directions, & even contact info making herself available for questions & troubleshooting. My starter is already brewing, doing its magical thing! But what's more, is that Katrina offers the most AMAZING sourdough bread workshops if you are lucky enough to attend! I recently was able to join her Artistic Sourdough Bread class, & was blown away by her organized, effective, engaging, & really fun teaching style. (It is obvious that she was once a 2nd Grade Teacher.) She generously shared so much wonderful information, allowing us to feel her passion and become inspired to find ours as well. Katrina is truly a gift as a person & she is absolutely a Master with sourdough!
