Amazing collection of rocks, minerals and gemstones from an old high school science lab!

Very complete set. All stones are in a divided box tray as pictured. Top included; looks sort of like a board game box when it is closed up. Identification sheet with coordinating numbers marked on each stone. An introductory study guide marked 1988 from GeoScience Industries. Other, sturdier sheets that include metamorphic rocks, sedimentary rocks, igneous rocks, the rock cycle.

40 stones in all; complete set. They include but aren't limited to:

Pyroxene
Copper ore
Barite
Gneiss
Porphyry
Amphibole
... and many more!

Such a neat collection and very educational too. Neat for using or for display. Gorgeous specimens.

Underneath each stone in the tray segments need to be cleaned up. Only other flaw I notice are some pencil markings on the identification chart.

Marked Washington School.
