Highlights
W. R. Beatty was Assistant Horticulturalist in the Bureau of Plant Industry within the US Department of Agriculture, and he wrote this pamphlet called "The Home Vegetable Garden". This is a 1906 publication by the US Government Printing Office in Washington DC, and it is Farmers' Bulletin No. 255. This paperback booklet offers 48 pages and the Table of Contents is shown in photo 2. This is a practical and introductory handbook for home gardeners and has some useful illustrations. The pamphlet is in fair condition, there are small folds, small tears, and minor discolorations to the paper. The staple bindings are secure and the pages are intact and complete. The booklet measures about 9 1/8" by 5 3/4". In fair condition.
