Description

A classic butterfly brooch for the Gypsy naturalist. This brooch does have some damage, one little antennae is missing on it's head and the right top two abalone insets are slightly loose on the inside. But for the budget conscious or the butterfly collector, this brooch would be a perfect match. It is marked ECF with Hecho en Mexico 925 in a circle on the back. It weighs 11 grams and measures 2 1/8 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide at the widest part. Tarnished and showing some wear, it does still have all of the beautiful inlayed abalone and would polish nicely.
