I created this pattern several months ago but have been too busy to bead it up. This week I finally forced (yeah, right!) myself to sit down and bring it to life. And I am so glad I did.

Woven with needle and thread and thousands of tiny beads in six different shades of blue, green, and grey, this cuff will let you wear those sweet waterfront mornings on even the dreariest urban day.

When I completed the band, I remembered the wonderful button by Lisa Peters (see her store here: http://lisapetersart.etsy.com) that I have been saving for the "perfect piece." Well, this is that piece. The button takes you from summer seas to summer meadows with its blue sky and soft green grass.

Wear this for that special dinner with friends or an afternoon walk with your loved one. Caveat: This piece should not be worn while performing wrist banging labor; the glass beads might withstand it, but the Raku button probably wouldn't.

This bracelet is woven in peyote stitch using matte Japanese delica beads. The button was made from Enhanced Earthenware Clay that was glazed with two different glazes and fired using the Raku Technique. I used a leather backing for the button to provide stability and avoid damage to the beads. The beaded band is 1.25" wide and 7" long. The cuff will fit up to a 7.25" wrist nicely.

SIZING

I cannot resize this cuff, but I can make one using the same pattern and beads to your length specifications. It will have a standard beaded loop and toogle closure rather than the button featured on this piece.

SHIPPING

This bracelet will be shipped in an elegant gift box using First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. You can upgrade to Priority Mail for $3 by leaving a request in the "Message to Seller" box of the purchase order; wait for an amended invoice.
