Knitting pattern for knee-high ladies socks in a Nordic style. I named the pattern in honour of the marvellous fiction of J K Rowling, 'Durmstrang' being a Nordic school of witchcraft and wizardry in the Harry Potter series.

The project requires 100g each of two colours of sock yarn at approximately 420 metres\/100g (e.g. Opal\/Regia\/Schoppell-Wolle\/Lang Jawoll etc...). I also recommend knitting-in elastic for use in the cuffs. The socks are knitted on a set of five 2.5mm double-pointed needles, with the cast-on worked on a 3mm needle. Gauge is 38 stitches and 44 rounds to 4".

Delivery is via email attachment.

NB: This is not an official, licensed Harry Potter product and is not intended to be perceived as such.
