Care for your jewelry is important! Here are my tips to you to keep your item looking its best: 1) Store beaded earrings hanging. This keeps the fringe from kinking or tangling. 2) Don't pull on your beaded fringe! If a segment is kinked or not laying the way you would like, lay the piece on the palm of one hand and use the other to roll your fingers over the fringe. 3) Don't wear your jewelry in the water, while you bathe, while you do your hair/etc. - exposure to water and chemicals can cause threads to break down over time and can cause some metals to tarnish. The golden rule for all jewelry is that it should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
