This turned bowl made from wild cherry wood is a real eye-catcher. It's not just the varied grain and the play of colors of the wood that speak for themselves. The cracks in the wood were filled with epoxy resin (food-safe), which varies from sharply contoured to recessed into the surrounding wood depending on the porosity.
The wide rim and the openwork shape with preserved bark set further great accents.
You don't actually want to fill this bowl with anything, you just want to hold it in your hands and look at it from all sides and discover new things.
