Description

*****This listing is for the pattern only! All pictures shown are created using this pattern, not the actual item for sale*****

Who can resist a teddy bear? When I was little up to about 16 years old I had a ginormous teddy bear collection. It took over my whole room and began spreading beyond just my room, and was more extensive then you might believe. I think this is the reason that I love teddy bears still. Herbert here is a distant, fabric relative of my Herman the bear knitting pattern.

This brand new sewing pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to make this darling bear, in two different sizes! These bears are a super fast, super satisfying project that sew up easily with many different fabrics. Though I picked fleece more most of my examples, he is easily sewn in other fabrics as well. Since it only takes a small amount of fabric, this is a great stash busting project for all those scraps, or the times you've bought just a yard or two of fabric because it was pretty.

Modern toys are scary! Not only does this pattern give you a chance to give your kids lead and chemical free toys, but making your own toys lets you decide exactly what your little angels are putting in their mouths and sleeping next to at night. The great simple design of this bear makes him a perfect companion for babies and toddlers, especially since I made all of my samples with sewn on eyes, and he is extremely washable for all those foreign spots that seem to attack kids' toys. The more drool-proof the better, right?!
