A Darling AND Lovely little edition of Jane Austen's most favored book, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE~

Has 8 charming one color ink illustrations by the famous Austen illustratior, Charles E. Brock~

I have never seen this decorative dustcover and the editions with Brock illustrations are quite scarce~

Book is in good charming vintage condition, turquoise blue cloth cover boards with used and tanned wear, especially to edges and on binding..gold gilded print on binding is still legible... some charming old foxing to page block and also endpages....original Dust Jacket is in worn and a bit torn condition... still has original price......tightly bound pages..a most appealing edition sure to delight all or any Jane Austen fans~

Has an original ink inscription on inside of one of the back endpages... name looks to be Godfrey on Melbourne Rd in Bristol England~

A great and charming used edition perfect for wedding or birthday gift, wedding decor, Janeites, homeschoolers, all students or teachers of English Lit.~

Comes carefully wrapped in tissue and beautiful vintage ribbon, ready for gifting or display~

Also included will be one of my vintage bookplates for your personal identification~

Shipping was incredibly fast, the store owner was very friendly when i asked questions. Im pretty excited about this book as it has illustrations and all four books. I think that this is a really cool part of history and is now the second oldest book i have in my collection (published in 1941)
