Here's a great vintage Ohio Art sand pail or bucket with big bold letters that spell FIRE on both sides. Purchased from the estate of a gentleman who was a fireman in his younger days!

In very good vintage condition wear to the paint finish but no dents. I believe that the original color of this piece was red, but now it has become two toned as it has aged and is orange on one side, gradually fading to yellow on the other (see photos).

The handle (which can remain upright or down), and the inside & outside bottom are rusty. Approx. 6" in diameter and 6 3//4" wide. It's approx. 5 1/2" tall and, increasing to 8 1/4" tall including the upright handle.

Marked on side "The Ohio Art Co." with the company's logo (see photo).
