Why Choose Curly Hard Maple?
Beautiful Curly Grain – Eye-catching natural patterns make every board one-of-a-kind
Dense, Closed-Grain Hardwood – Helps resist moisture and bacteria penetration
Highly Durable – Built to withstand daily cutting and chopping
Knife-Friendly Surface – Tough yet gentle on your blades

Curly hard maple is a premium hardwood that combines performance with standout visual appeal.

Our cutting board is finished with:

Mineral oil and wood wax for enhanced durability and moisture resistance or refined coconut oil for a non-toxic plant based wood finish that also provides water resistance. Both are completely food grade finishes, and are great for cutting boards.

Both should be reapplied often, with coconut oil needing to be reapplied every few weeks, and mineral oil needing to be reapplied ever few months depending on how often the cutting board is used.

Message us if you prefer a different finish.

Care instructions:

Hand wash only
Do not put in the dishwasher
Do not soak in water
Dry immediately after washing

Also, be sure to reoil your cutting boards every 3-4 weeks or when the board is looking discolored/feels dry, when it is starting to get rough after washing, is absorbing more water/moisture than usual. It may need actual refinishing every 6-12 months based on the use of your cutting boards where you should sand out the deep knife marks to get a flat surface with little to no marks, before reoiling the board, in which you may want to reoil the board 2-3 times after sanding to keep your cutting board working well.

Proper care will help prevent warping, cracking, and drying over time.
