DK Knitted Can Sleeves - Set of Four Christmas Knitting Patterns

Please note - due to either small knitted pieces, or the use of plastic eyes, these are not suitable for children under 3yrs old ❤️

Here you will find four patterns to create your own set of Christmas Can Sleeves. These cuties make a great novelty gift, and are easily worked over a few evenings or a lazy Sunday using very little yarn.
Make these super little sleeves for a loved one (or yourself!), to keep cans cool and fingers warm.

Materials:

3mm straight needles (UK) & yarn needle
DK coloured yarn for all as required (see list below)
Oddments of felt and yarn for face features
Small amount of stuffing for Antlers only.

Abbreviations:
K = Knit
P = Purl
Sts = Stitches
St-st = Stocking Stitch (K1 row, P 1 row)
Gt-st = Garter Stitch (K all rows)
B&T = Break & Tie (break yarn, pull through sts one by one, and draw tightly)
Tog = together (i.e. knit two stitches together to create one & reduce stitches on row)

Colours;
Reindeer = Chestnut brown, fawn, red.
Snowman = Black, white, orange.
Santa = White, red, black, yellow
Christmas Tree = Yellow, 2 tones of green, chestnut brown, oddments of colour for baubles.
All can be made from cost effective 25 g DK toy yarn balls, and using oddments for smaller features:

These sleeves will fit the taller can sized 15cm & the smaller can sized 11.5cm as a universal piece.

Please note that this is my own design and pattern.
