🧼Care Instructions:
Corian is one of the most hygienic and durable materials available for kitchen use. Because it is non-porous, it repels moisture and bacteria, making it an excellent choice for handling meats, veggies, and dough. With just a little bit of care, this board will last a lifetime. Here is how to keep it looking brand new:

Daily Cleaning & Sanitizing:
-Standard Clean: Wash with warm soapy water and a sponge.
-Dishwasher Safe: Unlike wood boards, solid surface boards are generally dishwasher safe! Note: If your board has rubber feet attached with adhesive, hand washing is recommended to preserve the glue.
-Sanitizing: For raw meat cleanup, you can wipe the board with a solution of diluted household bleach (1 part water, 1 part bleach) without damaging the color.

Dealing with Stains & Scratches
-One of the best features of Corian is that it is renewable. If your board gets stained or heavily scratched, you can restore it.
-Stains: If a stubborn stain (like turmeric or beet juice) occurs, use a mild abrasive cleanser (like Soft Scrub® or Bar Keepers Friend®). Scrub in a circular motion with a wet sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
-Scratches & Knife Marks: Corian is softer than steel, so your knives will eventually leave marks. This is normal and actually helps prevent your knives from dulling too quickly.
-To remove cuts: Light Scratches: Use a green Scotch-Brite™ pad with a mild abrasive cleaner and rub in a circular motion.
-Deep Cuts: You can sand the board lightly with fine-grit sandpaper (180-220 grit), followed by a Scotch-Brite pad to blend the finish.

Important Do’s and Do NOTs
DO's:
-Use it for rolling dough; the cool surface is perfect for pastry.
-Chill it in the fridge before serving cheese or fruit.
-Use it as a serving platter; it makes a beautiful charcuterie board.
Do NOTs:
-Place pots directly from the burner onto the board. Use a trivet for extreme heat.
-Use window cleaners or waxy polishes; they leave a residue that is not food-safe.
