THIS STUNNING LARGE, OVAL PLATTER IS A TREASURE CREATED BY ARTIST TERESA DURAN. Ms. Duran (Sandoval) is both artist and businesswoman. This piece blends well with others by Ken Edwards. Measures about 14" x 9". It's a substantial piece and weighs 3 lb. 12.8 oz. prior to packaging. The signature on this piece appears on the side. (see pix 10 & 11) It is signed T.D., Xochiquetzal, Mexico. No chips, nicks or surface scratches. Please feel free to ask questions!

From the web:

Xochiquetzal (aka Xochipilli) is the goddess of flowers, song and dancing. She is Flower Feather, the ever young and pretty goddess of flowers, love, pleasure and beauty. She resides over pregnancy and childbirth. She is also a patron of artists. Xochiquetzal is often displayed surrounded by flowers and butterflies, and accompanied by a hummingbird or an ocelot.
