ReBcycle “Chain My Heart” ornaments consist of a heart pendant (small, medium, or large) handmade out of recycled bicycle chain and hung on a cord made from a used bicycle tube. The pendants are available in their original raw metal, which may vary from shiny silver to dark gray. The ornaments can be used as a Valentine's gift or to decorate your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror, door knobs, or any other location. Show your love for bicycling, another person, or both with one of these hearts.

Listed below are the average sizes for the hearts, although the exact proportions and measurements can vary by up to a 1/4+ inch depending on who wide or narrow the individual item is.

Size - Width by Height
Large - 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" - 14 links
Medium - 2" by 1 3/4" - 10 links
Small - 1 3/4" "to 1 1/2" - 8 links

The exact style and wear on the chain used for each individual ornament varies and the photographs shown here represent some of the diversity of the ornaments, but may not be the exact heart ornament available at the time of sale. After your purchase I will e-mail you photographs of some of the heart ornaments currently available and will let you select from the ones available or request other options.

The bicycle chains and bicycle tubes are from Baltimore City bike repair shops and local cyclists and vary widely in style and character. Each chain and tube is cleaned to remove rust, dirt, and grease, but will still show a patina based on its original use. As each piece is handmade, the exact shape of each piece and length of tube cord will vary from piece to piece.
