Funky retro Astroworld Amusement Park souvenir tray from Houston, Texas.

Opening on June 1, 1968, AstroWorld was originally developed and constructed as part of the Astrodomain, the brainchild of local philanthropist and former Houston mayor Judge Roy Hofheinz, who intended it to complement The Astrodome.

Tray illustrates the many features of Astroworld, Skyrama, The Alpine Sleigh Ride, The Astrodome and downtown Houston as it appeared in the late 1960's. Would look great in a retro kitchen or decorating the inside of your vintage camper.

Made of pressed wood composite, has a black plastic frame, white plastic wrapped around the handles, and the back is painted solid black.
Measures approximately 17-1/2" x 11-1/2" x 1/2".
Very good vintage condition with minor discoloration.
