The books curve to the shape of the shelf, and the grinded aluminum surface design dances in the light. This shelf has a dual purpose in that it both decorates a room, as well as holds books. Since I put the grinded texture on myself, each shelf's pattern is unique and a little bit different.

It hangs on the wall via brackets welded to the shelf and drywall anchors. As soon as you put books on it, the brackets get hidden. Many first time viewers can't figure out how the shelf is hung. The shelf is sturdy and easily handles being completely full of books. It also includes spacers (what you see in the photos between the books) to allow the books to take the form of the shelf.

The shelf is made up of smaller sections all under 48" long and 3lbs, which you bolt together as you hang it up.

Hanging the shelf is simple, and can even be done by one person solo, although it is easier if you have a friend to help you. We include a paper setup of the shelf, which you tape on the wall to decide where to insert the anchors for your shelf. You partially assemble the shelf, install the anchors, then hold the shelf there while you screw it in. See this video for how to hang it:

Got tired of waiting on my husband to assemble my shelf so I did it myself. It took about 2 1/2 hours taking my time, one piece at a time. The shelf was machined perfectly, all holes lined up. It was great that there were extra screws because I did end up needing one because I ran into a stud. I love it. I added some led Christmas lights around it that i wasn't using anymore and it just makes it look that much greater. It's exactly what I envisioned for our office. Thank you!

Absolutly love it!! It wasn't enough to house all of my books so I may have to purchase a larger version in the future. Looks amazing! Great customer service!! I was missing a few screws and Brianna sent them immediately and I was finally able to hang it up yesterday. It took me about 2 hrs. Fast shipping too, I received it earlier than expected. I love everything about this bookshelf. It's so unique and looks great in my office. KufaDesigns makes putting the shelf together and hanging on the wall so easy. The bookshelf comes with step by step instructions, a pattern to place on the wall, and all the hardware you need. I was able to hang it by myself without any help. The quality is incredible. I wish I had a place for another one in our house. So happy with this purchase and grateful to Brianna for the great service and shipping this out so quickly.
