I'm pleased to present an excellent pair of classic two-tone Saddle shoes in a quite dark navy blue leather saddle on top of an eggshell leather. I've always loved two tone, classic wingtips and oxfords- and these are lovely examples. Made in the 1990s by Cole Haan, who started off in 1928 by Trafton Cole & Eddie Haan- making quality Men's Footwear in Chicago. Cole Haan in my opinion is still making solid footwear with ever better materials like Horween leather. Never been disappointed in their shoes, myself.

The leather is soft and supple, the creasing around the instep leading to the toes is relatively minimal. The stacked cork midsoles on top of brick red rubber are springy. The soles are level and do not show excessive wear. Colormatched tan laces are likely original.

There are small abrasions and some notable scuffing, as well as a slash somehow on the left saddle near the eyelets. Priced with these things in mind, of course. As a whole these are classed and very good looking.

They're decades old, pre-owned and not perfect, but they look great and should be worn and seen. They're slick as hell. You would not be looking at a listing for these if they fit me. I had a pair of 12s in honey leather and the same eggshell that I wore until the soles gave out. So cool.

There's zero odor. Except leather, of course.

Shipping's $12.35 for priority mail in the USA. That's 2-3 day max travel time, tracked, and they're boxed.

These are Men's 11 1/2 D- The D is a width designation. The width scale runs from A to E and sometimes EE or EEE, those being the widest. C would be in the middle.

D means these were made to suit a slightly wider foot.

Of course with any piece of vintage clothing and especially footwear, you need to have a full set of measurements when buying via the internet.

Measured inside the shoe, from heel to toe - 11 1/2 inches
Measured outside the shoe, from outsole heel to toe - 12 1/4 inches
Measured across the toepad, (widest part of the sole) - 4 1/2 inches
Measured across the heel cap - 3 inches

And I've started another way of measuring that I never read in other sellers' listings, but I think is very noteworthy: The length of the arc of the toepad, which in my estimation is where the fit is either or make or break. This is where your toes either have the room they need, or are squeezed into discomfort.

This measurement is 6 1/2 inches around. Picture the upper of the shoe around, from where it meets the outsole on either side. (Where ski bindings would go!) Measured with a tailor's tape.

I'll ship these anywhere in the world and I will refund any shipping overages. Overseas buyers, Please read :

I've sold almost 180 items on Etsy and back at around item number 25, I had to raise my shipping estimates. This was due solely to my own experience of shipping packages overseas and paying 200% or 300% more at time of shipping. Sometimes it effectively nullified any profit. You have my word I will refund you any overages- you pay what I pay to get it to your door.

I love my overseas patrons, and love to find things for people across the globe. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me- I love to answer questions and always have time for you.
