Introducing our new set of matching Sardines fish water soluble transfer paper + clay cutter. This product is part of the "Amalfi coast" collection.

In this listing, you can purchase the transfer paper individually, or the transfer paper + the 2 matching mirrored clay cutters.

Each fish measures 40mm x 11mm. Each sheet of transfer paper has 16 lemons. We recommend purchasing extra transfer paper, especially if you are new to this technique.

This paper works best on light-coloured clay (rather than dark colours).
This paper is single-use, but you can cut the portion you need and use the rest at a different time.
Instructions for use are included with each paper.

★ USE ★

Condition the clay and roll it on your working surface - we recommend using a ceramic or glass tile.
Place the transfer paper with the bright, printed side facing down on the clay surface.
Roll a rolling pin onto the image to remove air bubbles and make the paper adhere to the clay. This step is fundamental.
Place the tile with the clay under cold tap water, using a mild stream. Using a strong stream might cause the image to detach and ruin your design.
Keep the clay under the tap until the paper fibres dissolved, leaving the image onto your clay.
Use your finger to GENTLY brub off the residue of the paper.
Pat dry or let dry with air.
Cut and bake your shapes as usual (make sure you cover them with foil while baking).
If after baking you notice a white residue of paper, spray the clay with water and rub the residue off with a baby wipe.
Seal the image with a glaze. I recommend Brite Tone, Sculpey sealer or Cernit glaze.
